THE WORLD AS A BURNING CANDLE is investigating the influence of perceived complexity of visual metaphors on their persuasive power across different cultures. First part of this study is being conducted in the Netherlands, the second part in Japan. Different persuasive effects are being expected between the levels of perceived complexity due to different information processing styles across cultures.
